Echolink connection question

asl3 3.7.1-1.deb
asl3-asterisk 2:22.2.0+asl3-3.3.0-6.deb12

Hi all,

We have build a "local" repeater network using ASL, it has no connection to the ASL network.
All repeaters are connected to a node that we call HUB.

In order to extend our network we want to use Echolink to connect to an Echolink node.
BUT, we would like this link to be switched ON/OFF by our local hams using a DTMF macro command, and this from any of our repeaters.

For testing, I've created an Echolink connection on one of our repeaters and it works, but it can of course only be (de)activated from this repeater.

Is there a way to do what we want ?

73 and thanks,
Patrick

DTMF passthru Maybe this might help. Sounds like its what you are trying to accomplish.

The best way to achieve this is to set the echoilnk node up on a private node.

When you want access, connect to your private node.

When you don’t… disconnect.

There is no way to turn it on/off without changing your config and reloading.
