Yaesu FT991A connect

Hi everyone! I just installed and configured ASL3 on my node. I have an FT-991A radio; does anyone have any ideas on how to configure this radio?

I am familiar with PTT commands via serial and also with audio interfaces. I have already written two small scripts to toggle PTT for TX/RX and to record myself via a remote handheld, but all of that is outside of the ASL3 software.

Could someone guide me on how to implement this into the ASL3 system? Thanks!

So an FT991A's Audio/CAT ports would not be immediately usable by app_rpt as that's not compatible with the channel drivers. You could use a supported CM108/CM119 audio device connected to the ACC and/or analog audio in/out ports. At some point in the future we're looking at supporting ALSA/Pipeaudio devices and a generalized GPIO structure but that's still aways off.
