I thought I’d pass along a working usbradio.conf for anyone trying to get an IRLP board going on Asterisk. Consider this file to be a template to get started with. I haven’t managed to get the AUX 1,2,3 outputs going yet, but PTT and COS seem to be working FB.
My node radios have built-in PL squelch, which I’m using at the moment. I’m also using the software DTMF decoder.
At this point, I’m using an unmodified CM108 fob and my homebrew IRLP
board.

We are no longer allowed to have IRLP on AllStarLink systems. Jim
removed all support for IRLP at Dave Cameron's request.

Just because we can, does it follow that we should?
yes, Dale, I believe they understand this. They are proposing the use of existing
IRLP hardware on an Asterisk node, having nothing to do with the IRLP network.

Are you attempting to use usbradio with an IRLP board? That’s not going to work. You’ll need one of the usb attached C-Media sound dongles such as the URI or RA-35.
Does that help?
BTW, you dug up an 11 year old thread. Whatever you may have read there is probably obsolete.
