Hi,

we are using an URI to connect a radio to an asterisk. To my mind the configuration of rpt.conf, usbradio.conf, iax.conf and extensions.ael is correct. We have the following problem:

1.) Outgoing radio from iaxrpt is working correct, PTT is triggered and voice is transmitted

2.) Incoming radio does not work. We get messages like "usbradio_read: rxcarrierdetect = 1" on the console but in iax (iax set debug on) we do _not_ get messages like RDKEY or RDUNKEY. Although no voice is transmitted to iax.rpt

What's going wrong? Thanks in advance,

The default of CTCSS decode enabled in usbradio.conf is the likely cause. From mantis.qrvc.com bug ID 0000040:

You'd think the follwing entry would turn off ctcss:

ctcssfrom=no

It doesn't!

You also need to comment out rxctcssfreqs and txctcssfreqs to go into carrier squelch mode.

You are right, to comment out rxctcssfreqs and txctcssfreqs seems to solve the problem!
