Hello, good day, I have been running 4 servers with 4 nodes ( 2 connected to different accts, 1 ASL to YSF bridge laptop, 1 BRIAN, all running ASL v1.01) in my home network. This 4 Nodes have no problem connecting to each other and no problem connecting to any Nodes outside of my Network. Yesterday I decided to change my router so my WAN ip was changed by my ISP. These 4 Nodes have different ports ( port forwarded) are online and connected to Allstalink and can connect and be connected by any Node outside of my Home network.
But now they wont connect to each other. updatenodelist is running and updating. I this because of the new router? Different Wan ip address? I am a newbie in Linux but can be guided on where to check whats causing the problem.
So, when changing ports in systems behind your nat,
did you remember to update the port info in rpt.conf [nodes]
Any connections on different servers inside of your nat will need to be correct in that spot. IP/PORT
Take you time and think it through. You will find it.
Thanks Brad, I followed the link you gave me and it worked. But I ended up putting the old router back. I got a failure on doing speed test (Download test ok, Upload test failed, socket/firewall closed) on the new router and also I cannot remotely connect to my PC. After installing back the old router I tested the
connection by disabling the lines I added on rpt.conf and it connects to all the local server.
But at least now I know what to do if this thing happen again.
