Trying to make a neighborhood allstar network. Need some help

Hello, my name is Bryson with call sign KM6YMM. What I am trying to do is make a neighborhood allstarlink network, I have some people interested (They do have there callsigns) but I am stuck in the config phase. I am trying to avoid using the [nodes] stanza for adding private nodes. Instead I am trying to basically “clone” register.allstarlink.org. I hope this makes sense. I want my users able to use the register command in iax.conf to be able to register to my server. I have posted my current config and what happens with this configuration is when I do *7 it says nothing, not even connection failed. It says absolutely nothing, I sure hope the great community here can give me some tips on to what I am missing. Thank you very much! Configs are below.

I don’t think *7 does anything. The GMRS Linked Network is a network for GMRS users. This network is using the same software as ASL

Bryson,

*7 is the beginning of many possible commands.

*71 <NODE #> - Disconnect from NODE#
*72 <NODE #> - Monitor Only NODE#
*73 <NODE #> - Connect to NODE #

As it concerns not wanting to manually enter the private nodes… The node information has to be available to connect. Manually entering is much easier than setting up a server for a few nodes.

-Brad

Sorry, that was a typo, I meant *73, but I just now tried *73<node#> and still, no response.
