New node 64546 up but cannot access my AllScan URI through the USB connection. Using a Mini PC, fully loaded by AllScan, and when accessing sudo /usr/sbin/radio-tune-menu, I cannot proceed with alignments due to error ‘associated USB device string 1-1:1.0 was not found’. I’ve accessed sudo nano /etc/asterisk/usbradio.conf and AllScan instructed me to delete entries after to delete entries after devstr= , which I did and it saved. However, I still cannot utilize the radio tune menu due to no USB connection to my AllScan URI radio interface.
AllScan suggests: “That error has been a somewhat common occurrence reported in the ASL forums. If clearing the devstr and then rebooting does not fix it, I would suggest posting on the ASL forum so that the ASL devs are aware that the issue is still occurring. They will quickly reply and let you know what steps to take, and it should then be a very quick and simple fix.”
I’m not sure of the actual device string and not real proficient moving around these Linux prompts. I’m at the prompt t5*CLI> but no go for the asl-find-sound command. Where should I enter the command and what is the complete command line?
Mike, I appreciate your time and advice but I’m not getting anywhere with this. Since I had AllScan set up this entire node, I’m just going to return it to David for a ‘realignment’. Something is missing here and I’m just not going to find it. Thank you!
