I keep running into a issue where i am connected to a echolink node for a net and somehow the TOT timer keeps timing out at a small interval but yet when i went to rpt.conf i have it set to timeout at a long interval which the TOT shouldn’t have even tripped during a net talking i have it set to timeout if it were to be keyed for over 5 minutes where the net is a NTS net on a local level but seems like the TOT ignored the line in rpt.conf and time out at almost 2:30 mark which misses the rest of the in my case message until whoever is talking unkeys
so i’m looking to see if anyone knows a way for me to fix this to make the TOT be longer to be able to listen to the entire transmission instead of only being able to listen to the first half of the transmission for echolink nodes? it works fine when i’m on allstar nodes it listens to the setting only when it connect to echolink nodes is when it happens ignoring the setting although the rpt.conf is set to TOT at more than the 2:30 mark
