I'm a new user to Allstar, but really impressed with the system and the possibilities. Last night I was connected to a repeater that is running only Echolink. They were running their normal weekly net and about 30 minutes into the net my node said something (node time out?) and it stopped transmitting the net. I logged into Supermon2 and it showed that I was connected to their Echolink node. Once I disconnected and reconnected everything was good, I made me comments, and 10ish minutes later the net closed and I disconnected. I wasn't aware that there was a timeout like Wires-X or Brandmeister DMR since Allstar is designed for linking repeaters. Am I wrong on that portion or is there something I need to change in my programming. We have just setup a Allstar with Echolink on our club repeater, so we do not want to have this issue on it.
Perhaps you need to turn off foreign announcements.
The message you herd my not have been for you node.
But there is also link activity timer if enabled. Inactivity may be a better name for it.
