Time announcements

hi all im wondering is it possible to stop the AM - PM part of the time announcements
1 o’clock or 6 o’clock is fine
but 1 o’clock am or pm i am wanting to stop.

Just edit the crontab file to specify the use of a 24-hour clock:
/usr/local/sbin/say24time.pl

The time function format is built-in and not settable (without changing source code).
You can write a script to play the time however you want. And add wx data or temp if you have it.
