Is it possible to use a ulaw or wav or whatever audio file as the CT
rather than plain tone sequences?
Just spitballing...

Has this ever been answered?
Set the last two examples. Those use sound files.

Making sound files:
When using a sound file, the default path for the sound file is /var/lib/asterisk/sounds as mentioned here:

Great. Took a little while to realize that the rpt in front of the line rpt/filename is a directory . once I took that out it works. I was thinking that rpt was a keyword like when you use it in the CLI to connect to other nodes. ie “rpt fun 45061 *3450630”
Thanks
Right! /var/lib/asterisk/sound/rpt where most of the app_rpt specific sound files are stored. You don’t have to put your files there. You could put them in /var/lib/asterisk/sounds in which case you would not have to spec the path, only the file. If on the other hand you wanted to store the files in your home directory, you would have to specify the full path. ie /home/repeater/mysoundfiles/mysound
