The code that provides the data at these locations has been cleaned up, streamlined, and normalized for better efficiency and maintainability. Prior to the cut-over, anyone who is interested can test their app integration for any URI against the host snodes-new.allstarlink.org host. All of the above hostnames are served by the same system. For example https://nodes1.allstarlink.org/cgi-bin/nodes.pl can be tested with https://snodes-new.allstarlink.org/cgi-bin/nodes.pl. Please note that currently the pre-production environment is using a backup copy of the database from a week or so ago so the data will be stale. This offer is to check for functionality of the updated code not currency of data.
On Oct 18, all of the production hostnames will be pointed to the new server. No production code change is necessary in any third party app. The "snodes-new" name is for pre-production testing only.
