Sound card WM8960 and COS / PTT via GPIO RPI?

Hi,

I have a ready-made board featuring the SA818 module and a WM8960 sound card (via I2S), along with SQL/COS and PTT control via GPIO; it plugs into the Raspberry Pi's 40-pin header and works perfectly with SvxLink. However, I want to use this hardware with AllStarLink 3. Is there a way to support it? I assume the sound card will work, as it is detected just like other cards (e.g., the CM108), but is there a method—perhaps using a Python 3 script—to pass RPi GPIO state changes (PTT and COS/SQL) to AllStarLink 3? My understanding is that AllStarLink doesn't natively monitor RPi GPIO pins for COS and PTT functions. Could a script like that send a "COS 1" or "COS 0" signal via an AMI connection to Asterisk so that AllStarLink knows the COS is active or PTT is engaged?

At this time, only CM108/109/119 audio chips work.

Thank you for the information
