i’ve just noticed recently that one of my cm108 have shorted pins, while others are not. I have used it in my other node set up without any problem. But I was just curious on why or what is the difference between those shorted and those that are not?
I don’t think I would worry much about it if it is not affecting anything.
Without looking, I might guess they are grounds or are to be grounded.
But you could probably check that with a meter to the USB ground if it matters.
They may have went back over some of them that did not pass testing.
Not all of these are exactly the same as we might hope in the real world.
Not all implementations are identical either.
Of course, over time, they try to make them cheaper and cheaper (with less parts)
