Hi! I’m trying to setup an Allstar node using a SHARI PiHATu. It is using a Raspberry Pi4b. I have tried to change the settings on the chip, but I continuously get a “Connection Error” when trying to write to it. I have tried changing the serial port, rebooting, and using the Pi5 settings, none of which worked.

Any suggestions on how to get it working?

I found this information.

In SHARI PiHat, the Raspberry Pi4 primary UART is used. This UART is called ttyAMA0.

I user /dev/ttyUSB0 as port and it works.

That’s a USB connection.

Mistake on my part…I have the SHARI USB version of this interface! Didn’t think there was a version that connects to gpio!
