Setting up Teamspeak for ASL

Hello how do you setup teamspeak to allstarlink???

Well, we keep hoping for the solution but I think you will find the reason nobody did this (yet) is because the audio codecs are different between teamspeak and asterisk…
Until someone gets past that, it’s not going to happen.

It is incredibly easy to do. Use Teamspeak (or Zello or whatever) and Zoiper. Zoiper connects to your Allstar node. Use virtual audio cable software of some sort, then go from there.

The whole thing takes about 2 minutes to set up. Audio codecs have absolutely nothing to do with it.

If that were true, then you wouldn’t need zopier and the audio pipe.
It’s not native to asterisk.

I have no interest in teamspeak, just trying to help Juan get help.

If you have better details, why not present them for others to enjoy…
This comes around from time to time and no blueprint has ever been presented.

Those are literally all the details that are needed. I have been running that setup for years with Zello. Teamspeak is no different. Ran that too for a time. Also ran a custom asterisk setup with Teamspeak on a commercial Part 90 neighborhood watch repeater system.

Again, nothing has to be native in order for this to work, and CODECs make no difference. You are simply piping the audio from one piece of software (Zello or Teamspeak or whatever) to the asterisk node and vice versa.
