Remote node using gps and chrony

I have a remote node in camper, with a GPS attached and APRS setup. I was thinking of using chrony to set the time on the device.

What I don't want to do is mess up ASL3, has anyone else done this?

Was thinking it was better to ask before - rather than ask for help having messed things up

Setting up gpsd + Chrony won't mess up ASL3. ASL doesn't fiddle with time stuff at all.
