Hello, KL4GA Allstar node 52407. I’m having trouble connecting to other All-Star nodes. I checked the website and 52407 is not registered. What do I need to do to get back in the system as registered? I would appreciate your help.
Please run asl-node-auth-check and post the results.
I haven’t done that before, I usually communicate with my ClearNode with my ClearNode app. Could you provide me some guidance?
I connected to my node through Putty. I put in asl-node-auth-check. (Command not found)
You may need to run the full path
/usr/bin/asl-node-auth-check
If that doesn't work...then it's unknown what they've done since they're pretty tight-lipped about how to fix things.
Thanks, I’ll give it a try. Appreciate the help.
Just did it, (no such file or directory) is says
Then they've modified the ASL installation.
You will likely need to contact them for help. I do not know what modifications they've made and they do not have images or anything available.
Subject: Node 52407 Being Rejected by AllStarLink Registration Server
Hello AllStarLink Support,
I am requesting assistance with my AllStarLink node 52407, which was previously registered and working normally but is now showing “Not Registered” on the AllStarLink website.
I have performed troubleshooting on the ClearNode and have confirmed the following:
- Node number: 52407
- The ClearNode has a working Internet connection.
- The node is reachable locally and I can SSH into the ClearNode.
- The node registration configuration is present in /etc/asterisk/iax.conf.
- The registration entry is:
register => 52407:********@register.allstarlink.org
- I have verified that the node password configured in the ClearNode matches the password shown for node 52407 in my AllStarLink account.
- Asterisk is successfully reaching the AllStarLink registration server, but the registration is being rejected.
The output of:
asterisk -rx "iax2 show registry"
shows:
Host Username Perceived Refresh State
52.20.63.146:4569 52407 60 Rejected
This indicates that the ClearNode is attempting to register node 52407 with the AllStarLink registration server, but the server is rejecting the registration.
Could you please check the AllStarLink database/account status for node 52407 and determine why the registration is being rejected?
In particular, I would appreciate it if you could verify that:
- Node 52407 is active and enabled for registration.
- The node is correctly associated with my AllStarLink account.
- There is no problem or stale registration associated with node 52407.
- The registration credentials for the node are valid on the AllStarLink side.
- If necessary, please restore or re-enable node 52407's registration so that my ClearNode can register normally again.
I have not made any intentional changes to the node configuration that would explain this problem. Since node 52407 was previously working and is now being explicitly reported as “Rejected” by the registration server, I believe the issue may be on the AllStarLink registration/account side.
Please let me know if you need any additional information or diagnostic output from the ClearNode.
I have not included the node password in this email for security reasons, but I can provide any information you need through an appropriate support channel.
Thank you for your assistance.
Brandon

Not sure who you're sending that to. ClearNode can't validate your account. However from a quick look at the log, your node password is incorrect.
Hi Brandon,
This is Gerry from Node-Ventures. You have a much older ClearNode still running HamVoIP, but as @N8EI says it's not registering because your node password is likely incorrect. Contact us at support@node-ventures.com and we'll get you sorted.
Hello Gerry, thank you for responding. You are correct my password was one digit off. I just completely missed it. It is a bit strange though because I never changed that in any of my settings. However after making the correction, my node is working and showing registered on the All-Star website. Thank you for your help, sir.
