What is the minimum SD Card size I need for an installation on a Pi that is running a single node? 4 GB? 8GB? Perhaps someone can tell me the minimum plus recommended size. I thought I would find this easily in the forum or wiki but couldn’t. Thx. - VE7NZ.

I use SANDISK 16GB SD card…Works for me

4gig will work, but hard to get a high speed one. I use 8gig class 10 cards. Note that the larger the card, the bigger the ’ img ’ file will be for backup. That’s why I stick to 8gig.

I use a 16GB card. In win32 disk imager, you can click on the box “read only allocated partitions” and it makes a much smaller backup file. Usually about 3.9GB.
