Raspbian Stretch image updates?

Following the README for the ASL image: http://dvswitch.org/files/ASL_Images/Raspberry_Pi/Stretch/ASL_1.01-20180228-armhf-raspbian-stretch-image.readme

and it advises to hold two kernel packages which have succeeded but then running apt update fails with all three package repository links not found.

Is there a more up-to-date image? Are there alternate package repositories?

I am a long time Debian (and by extension Raspbian) user and am familiar with the apt system.

Yeah, I’ve tried that as well and it all fails spectacularly.

I’ve not tried this yet, however this allegedly says it is dahdi patched for the 4.19 kernel which is what the latest raspberry pi os (Buster) is running.

How this fits into all of allstar/asterisk, I do not know and I’ve not had the time to devote to the heartbreak of experimenting.

ASL, quite frankly, is a bit of a mess

Thanks!

I see it uses dkms so that is a start.

I’ve been thinking instead of using a Debian image instead and building things locally and seeing how that works.
