Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W install

Is it possible to install Allstarlink v3 on the Raspberry Pi zero w 2?

All of the info i can find seems to be only for the Hamvoip image to be installed on the Raspberry Pi zero 2w, but i want to install the Allstarlink v3 on the Zero if possible.

Can i just use the same image that i used for the install i did on the Raspberry Pi 4b, which is allstar3-arm64-3.0.12.img ?

This is extremely well documented in the manual:

Yes, you can use the same method for installation on the rPi Zero 2 W as every other supported rPi. Remember to set up your WiFi credentials in the Raspberry Pi imager, since the Zero 2 W doesn’t have Ethernet.

If its extremely well documented then why cant i find it?

Click the link that N8EI shared. That should take you to the Raspberry Pi Install instructions. Near the top of the page you will see the Pi Appliance Requirements where you should see the “Hardware” list that includes the Zero 2 W. Below that you should see the “Step-by-Step Pi Appliance Setup” instructions.

I attempted to use this same image file as previously described and it installed fine, but there were some weird login issues upon 1st boot, then, it suddenly auenticated and it booted ok. Weird.
I went into the web admin portal, and clicked to update the software, and upon doing so, got a bunch of dpkg lock file errors.
I rebooted the pi, and it no longer boots. I replaced the SD card with an image of another program, and that image booted ok, so, something happened to the image for allstarlink v3 when i tried to update the software.
I guess ill reimage it again and try it again and see what happens as rhis SD card wirh the allstarlink v3 image on it no longer boots.

I dont know if my keyboard is cursed or if Google is filtering my searches, but i literally couldnt find that page, and it wouldnt load from within the allstarlink pages. The same thing happened with the active node list, i couldn’t access or find it until it was posted here.
Strange.
Thanks for that.

At the top of the portal page you should look for a button that says either Administrative access or Limited access. If the button does not show that you have Administrative access then you will want to click the button as you need the elevated privileges to update the software.

I have done it on a zero if I recall correctly but currently run it on a 2B… Alas. I’m having an issue but it’s not with the PI or the Program. it’s “External” (The problem is on the ISP side of the router) The new zero 2 ($35.00 last I checked) should run it no problem.

Its just not running right on the pi zero. There were errors after the image was booted firnthe 1st time when it tried to upgrade, froze up, then rebooted, then it said it was upgraded and all was fine, but there are weird issues that make no sense.
For example, asterisk is running, everything in the diagnostic say its ok, but there is no connectivity between the radio and the URC, no PTT with any setting i try, even though im using the exact same setting for PTT and ctcssfrom ect. The volume level tunes ok with option 2 of the CLI tune, but when i click on “toggle a few times” option from the menu, i get an error saying that asterisk is not running. I click to restart asterisk, and repeat, and get the same errors. Something definitely isnt right.
