The TX audio it’s very poor and have a rain noise in background, anyone have used this combination ?

That’s an interesting looking URI. I would be interested to know if you get it working. Seems straightforward to connect, USB in, MiniDIN6 out. You are using simpleusb driver, and ran the tune menu?
Yes I’m using simpleusb driver and had to set buster to 1 and invert usb in some variables to make it work but the audio it’s very low and background noise
Do you have the FT-7800 menu settings for the data jack set for 1200bps? If set to 9600 it requires a much larger signal (2V vs. 40mV p-p).
Yes I tested with both speed, the issue it’s a same, and today i test the interface with the same radio using echolink, and the audio level it’s pretty good
I would look at the audio In pin on the 7800 MiniDIN6 jack with a volt meter and confirm it’s getting at least 40mVp-p (~25mVrms). If so, the issue would seem to be something in the 7800, otherwise could be the R1 or ASL settings.
I don’t need to do that, because with Echolink the audio it’s pretty good, so i don’t think the issue is in radio, maybe some configuration in an Asterisk module simpleusb
Just to check a hunch, can you test this again with a wire connecting frame ground on the computer to the audio minus/ground ?
But I would also look at the possibility of RF getting into something.
And to note that some sound fobs are not the best when brand new.
