After the latest updates my .ul files will no longer play on my system. I had some announcements that I play with cron jobs. Now when the cron job runs it just keys up the system and doesn't play the file I want it to play. A friend of mine updated his today and gets the same symptoms, we believe it's something that happened in the latest ASL3 update. Anyone have anything?
Q? do you happen to have other audio files with the same name but different format (file name extension) side-by-side in the same directory?
That was it Alan, I had used the sox command to convert the .wav file to a .ul file, and when I did that, I left all the files in the same directory. This wasn't a problem until I did this latest update. The solution was moving the .wav files to a different directory and now everything plays nice.
We had one [internal] report of a similar issue where a .wav file (that asterisk wasn't happy with) was left in the same directory.
