PI refusing connection from my PC

I have successfully installed the latest version of AllStar on a 5B with 16 GB of memory using a 32 GB micro SD card. The PI boots and I can ping it over the internet from my PC. When I try to connect using https://192.168.1.111 I get the following error ERR_CO NNECTION_REFUSED
The PI is not in Do Not Disturb.
Any suggestions? I have tried Edge, Chrome and DuckDuckGo browsers with the same result.

Well Pat, more info is needed to answer that or point you in the right direction.

Guessing...
Know if the connection is not on the same server but is inside the same network NAT
(both behind the same router)
You have to define the nodes local address and port in the [NODES] section of rpt.conf.
ie
29283 = radio@192.168.1.100:4570/29283,NONE

So you are listing the address for connection for the other node.
So you are telling it how to connect inside your NAT.

If this is the case, dont forget to save and restart after editing.

Have you tried a tty session? Using puTTy for example. Any errors thrown could help narrow down the issue.

Thanks for trying to help. I’m a 77 yr old tube radio CW only type that has no idea how any of this stuff is supposed to be set up. I have to find someone local who can set it up for our club. They asked me to try since I’m retired but I just don’t have the knowledge.
Again, thanks for trying!

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll have to get someone local to set this up for our club since I don’t have the knowledge to do so
