Permanent Connections via Terminal

Hello,

Is it possible to create a permanent node connection via the Terminal or even better via DTMF or must you use the Allmon3 console to do it.

Just for the record in the case folks stumble on this later,

There is nothing allmon or any manager can do that you can not do from the command line. For they are issuing commands in the same way.
