I have a dell 1950 I would like to deploy at a remote site where the remote access card could come in handy due to limited physical access. I have been using VIA based PCI cards in previous deployments and the work fine, however the 1950 is PCI-X only. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which card works with DIAL or acid, before I go and randomly pick one.
Scott,
I can't speak to ACID support for PCI-X. DIAL is built on Debian 8 (Jessie) so you should be able to find if your cards are supported.
I have used PCI-X in HP servers under Debian.
