Noise calibration now caused loud RX audio?

Hi all,
I have the voter thru hole boards.

I had an issue after fixing the timing issue/flashing the new firmware so I had to restore it to factory defaults.

Anyway, it wouldn’t receive and I wasn’t sure why, so I did a squelch noise calibration (JP9). This worked and confirmed the noise gain successful, and started receiving again.

After driving away from the site and getting home, not the RX audio from that site is louder than another voted site so you get uneven audio.

So I’m assuming the squelch calibration adjusts the input audio? I don’t see this documented as such, but I haven’t adjusted it, it did it all by itself.

Any ideas? Another trip to the repeater site I think
