Inquiry

See https://allstarlink.github.io/user-guide/troubleshooting/ on how to ask a good question to obtain the quickest and best assistance

You are correct. Your node has not successfully registered. I would double-check that the password you have specified in the node settings matches the password from the www.allstarlink.org Portal / Node Settings page.

sudo asl-menu
  Node Settings
    AllStar Node Setup Menu
      Update node ...
        Node password

Alternatively, you can check the rpt_http_registrations.conf (or iax.conf) files. The line in the file you need to check looks like :

register => 1999:password@register.allstarlink.org

Note: the password is case sensitive

Note: it also looks like you have your system setup to register with both HTTP and IAX2. Please pick only one.

TNX, I’ve commented out the line in the iax.conf…

;register = > 67128:password@register.allstarlink.org….once this line is edited and asterisk restarted node67128 should be registared?

question concerning ; in allmon3, I can use link command to connect o node 27339, however it never show CONNECTED it show, CONNECTING…..what’s your input..???

Looking at the database, you converted 67128 into an NNX 6-digit node. So now your nodes are 671280 and 671281. Either update your node to use 671280 or edit your node to collapse it back down to a 5 digit node. As-is right now, you will never be able to use 67128.

Correct…I am GOOD now….Thanks for the info….

the only hiccup I have is “Not showing Connected” in Connect State or Mode of allmon3 Dashboard,

I’, sure you a thought or 2….

Looks like your node is online now. You'll have to wait for a bit for the chage back to a 5-digit number to propagate through the network.
