Node will not connect out (second attempt to post) PART ONE

My first post to get help was hampered by me not being able to post more than one file and emails for possible help being unable to be delivered, so I am going to try one more time. I will post my extension.conf on this post and I will make a second post and add the rpt.conf file.

The issue is on a two node pi install 47450,47452 ........ 47450 works fine 47452 will not connect out. 47452 not connecting out is what I am trying to fix.

Below l will post my extension.conf ....... I will start a new message to post rpt.conf

Phil, while I git busy, I though you had your issue fixed, or I had you mixed up with some other help case,
Could you state what the node number is of what what you are testing a connection with.
Try some other nodes and tell us the result.
I understand the node you are connecting from with an issue is 47452

This is the status of my two node pi.......I installed 47450 on a new pi5 with ASLv3 weeks ago and i47450 works great, no problem. After weeks of 47450 working great, I installed 47452 as a second node, I went through all the steps to add 47452 in same process I did for 47450.

After the install of 47452 all appeared normal, 47452 showed up in my supermon, thus I had both 47450 and 47452 as working nodes, I could click on the bubble list for each node and it would show normal. I could use 47450 and connect to 47452 ...... worked great.
The problem arose when I tried to use 47452 to connect to any other node, I tried connecting to 47450, 55553 and a couple of friends nodes, no luck at all. While using supermon and issuing the command to connect, the screen does a little shift but there is no attempt to connect at all. The bottom line is for node 47452 it appears that all aspects of the node are in working order, but for the ability to make a connection to other nodes. It never ever shows any activity in supermon that you will see when it attempting a connection it does nothing and stays blank.

I hope this explains what is happening, If I did not give a good enought explination, please let me know what else is needed.

I can not post any files to this forum, it blocks any attempt as I am "new user", I understand there are rules for forums but how does a new user get help if he is blocked from using the forum????

Thanks
Phil

Lacking ability to add files for a period of time is a basic anti-spam thing that's very common in forums. I've adjusted your account, you should be able to add attachments now.

Phil, can you post the [nodes] section of rpt.conf

thank you , I will try to behave

[telemetry]
;;;;; Telemetry ;;;;;
; Telemetry entries can be shared across all repeaters, or defined for each repeater.
; Can be a tone sequence, morse string, or a file
;
; |t - Tone escape sequence
;
; Tone sequences consist of 1 or more 4-tuple entries (freq1, freq2, duration, amplitude)
; Single frequencies are created by setting freq1 or freq2 to zero.
;
; |m - Morse escape sequence
;
; Sends Morse code at the telemetry amplitude and telemetry frequency as defined in the
; [morse] section.
;
; Follow with an alphanumeric string
;
; |i - Morse ID escape sequence
;
; Sends Morse code at the ID amplitude and ID frequency as defined in the
; [morse] section.
