Last night (2026-07-30) at 00:25 UTC 4 of my nodes suddenly changed status and are now being reported as unregistered. Using the search functionality on allstarlink.org the 4 nodes were last seen on 2026-07-30 00:25. Two nodes are public gateways and two are personal nodes. Each node is reporting a connection failed when trying to join their default hub. For example, 601481 [MB7IEY UHF] is normally connected to Freestar and will try 2167 and 2196 before failing. 601482 [MB7IEY 4M] is normally connected to the Alaska Net. 29332. Both nodes report a connection failed when trying to connect using their connect scripts which run every 15 mins. Likewise the two personal nodes are normally connected to different hubs but today both are failing. All nodes reside on separate hardware. (RPi's). All nodes have their own server using a different port number. Everything has been running fine for several months.

Nothing has been changed on the configs recently. All 4 nodes 'vanished' at the same time according to the allstarlink website. I tried manually connecting but still no joy. The internet connection seems to be fine and I can resolve register.allstarlink.org. All nodes have been rebooted several times during the day. In the CLI 'iax2 show registry' returns .
Any thoughts?
After a day of trying to resolve, I may just leave things overnight and see if there is any change in the morning.
Everything seems OK with asl-node-auth-check using a different node running ASL3 (58753) which is on the same internal LAN. 192.168.1.XXX. There was 1 reported error because the default port number, 4569 was still in iax.conf. The registration itself is now in the rpt_registrations_http file. I corrected the port in the iax.conf file and everything is now returning OK. But the other 4 nodes (Hamvoip) are not connecting to their default hubs. I can connect them to a few external hubs. For example 51288 which is a HubNet node. I suspect that this particular HubNet node is not checking for registered connections.
When I try to resolve 58753.nodes.allstarlink.org I get my external IP address back. But the 4 nodes which have the issue are not returning anything. Even when connected to 51288. Nor has their status been updated on the allstarlink site.
I have 2 internet connections from the same provider. So 2 external ip addresses and 2 internal LAN subnets. 192.168.1.xxx and 192.168.2.xxx. The latter is fine with a couple of nodes and a repeater in situ.
I will swing one of the impacted nodes from the 1.xxx to the 2.xxx LAN in the morning.
Since this are legacy HamVOIP nodes, it'd only be using IAX reg. I can see in the logging that all the activity from you IP address stopped dead on 2026-07-30 00:25 UTC and never tried again. You're not being ratelimited either due to HamVOIP doing some oddly bursty nonsense we've seen in the past either. So those four nodes aren't attempting to register or they're blocked network-wise somehow at your end.
There was another report of the same behavior and it stopped at the same time. This is the same problem I've seen before were some part of the Internet seems to just vanish on the way into AWS for UDP. Rebooted the register nodes and I see your stuff registering.
This AWS thing is VERY ANNOYING..... I may have to end up doing scheduled reboots.
