I can connect to a node like ECR and I can transmit and receive for a couple of minutes. Then the connection just drops. I can reconnect and a few minutes later it drops again. Any help with what I need to do to make the connections stay put would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have UDP/4569 forwarded into your network to your node? It's awkwardly displayed right now, but that usually means the node checker cannot independently connect to UDP/4569.
Good point, I'm checking into that today. I do not control the internet connection. Will that cause the drops? No UDP/4569 port forwarding?
Depending on the type of firewall, yes. If your outgoing connection creates the UDP session but it closes after a timeout period then your connection fails. You connect again and it works again for that timeout period.
FYI you're not blocked on ECR.
I'm looking at your nodes "stats" reporting and it's looking like the server may not be staying up. Can you check to see if you have any core files in your /var/lib/asterisk directory? You can do this from the Terminal with the following command:
ls -l /var/lib/asterisk
You might also want to use the Asterisk CLI to monitor the server activity. From the Terminal, exec sudo asterisk -r -vvvv and then watch the output for about 10 minutes. With no activity you should not see much output. After watching for a bit you can exit the CLI with quit. Paste the output here if you see anything interesting or questionable.

This explains why you've been having troubles. That's a LOT of core files.
This suggests something is off with an AMI interaction. Are you using Allmon3? Allscan? Supermon? ...?
Q? is the "339" the last digits of a longer node number that was trying to connect with your node? or is that a private node?
Q? can you tell us a bit more about this server/nodes configuration?
and, for the core files, we would need some additional info to see where/why the code is crashing.
