OK, I have been chasing a connection issue. It has come up a couple times. My devices / applications all seem to draw upon a list that shows my Allstar nodes located at an IP address, which is incorrect. Funny thing is that the “Repeater Phone” application connects reliably (iPad and iPhone) no matter what network I use it on. But, my M1KE device will not connect using the generic “Node#.allstar.org” as a reference.
When I look at the IP address that “Repeater Phone” has for my nodes, it is outdated and incorrect. But the app still works. In order to fix my M1KE device, I have to delete the allstar server and put in the actual dedicated (I pay for this now) IP address that the nodes are at to get connected. The IP address will not change as I switched to keep a “hard” static IP using a business class ISP service now. For other nodes not on my network that I could not connect to, I have had to do the same thing.
So, it appears that the allstar.org server list is not getting fed, updated, or collecting the right IP location for the nodes.
Is this something that I can fix either on my nodes or something that I can update as a part of my node/server management?
Look at your node setup on the AllStarLink portal. Do you have the option “Is node a remote base station?” set to Yes?
I have confirmed that M1KE does not work properly when this option is enabled. I have reported it to their developers.

You really haven't provided any actionable troubleshooting information to help out. But beyond Danny's suggestion, confirm you're using nnnnn.nodes.allstarlink.org. You kept referring to "allstar.org" which is a different doman and not ours.
So looking the nodes registered under W7KHZ, you have them both marked as Remote Base nodes. Change that to no and wait a few minutes. Those will be reprocessed as normal nodes and then you should be able to resolve 66142.nodes.allstarlink.org and 66143.nodes.allstarlink.org.
Thank you. We will disable the “remote base” selection. I also appreciate the update advising that this has also been communicated to the RFShark developers.
Glad my quick reference shorthand to the node list I used was understood.
One question remains. The Repeaterphone app was showing an incorrect IP location for my nodes. It would be interesting to find out why that is the case. It looks like the IP info may not be in sync with the allstar list(?) as it does find the right path to the nodes for a connection, despite the inaccurate IP address it is showing. I will follow up in this discussion if disabling the “base station” option does not resolve this quirk, but I have confidence in the community and the path they have already gone down with this.
