No outbound audio on inbound connections

I have been trying to resolve an audio issue as follows:

If I initiate an outbound connection from my 616530 node to any other node, either internally on my subnet, or externally via the internet, I have normal inbound and outbound audio, and can successfully carry out QSOs.

If an external node initiates an inbound connection to my 616530 node, I receive the inbound audio just fine and hear them talking. However, if I attempt to answer them, they do not receive any audio. They do see incoming activity indications, such as on Allmon, but no audio is heard coming from my node.

My own local 61653x nodes, on the same internal subnet, can successfully connect out to 616530 (inbound), with no audio issues whatsoever.

Likewise, external repeater-phone and dv-switch app users can connect inbound to my node and have audio in both directions, without issue.

I have triple checked the iax.conf and rpt.conf files, and do not see anything obvious. I also temporarily turned off firewalld and set my cable modem router for DMZ to the 616530 node's IP address, resulting in no change.

I have also verified the UDP ports for the servers match the port settings in the rpt and iax conf file stanzas.

My node 616530 rpt.conf is as follows:

616530 = radio@127.0.0.1:4569/616530,NONE
616531 = radio@100.100.65.31:4570/616531,NONE
616532 = radio@100.100.65.32:4571/616532,NONE
616533 = radio@100.100.65.33:4572/616533,NONE
616539 = radio@100.100.65.39:4578/616539,NONE
1001 = radio@127.0.0.1:4569/1001,NONE
1002 = radio@127.0.0.1:4569/1002,NONE
1003 = radio@127.0.0.1:4569/1003,NONE
1010 = radio@100.100.65.39:4578/1010,NONE

I have no issue with outbound audio from 616530 to 531,532 or 533, all three of which connect inbound to 530. Only external nodes are affected.

Should my local nodes be using the host's actual IP address rather than the 127.0.0.1 local host IP address?

The default stanza sample entries show local nodes as radio@127.0.0.1/XXXXXX,NONE (no colon and UDP port number). Which format is correct for the locally hosted nodes? Would this have an effect on the inbound audio issue I am experiencing?

Are there any recommended steps I can take to monitor and/or troubleshoot further as to where the issue may be originating?

No, it is internal, why go to the router to have it send it back.

Either. I like to use it with the port number so I can see them all at once and know the settings without chasing them down. Easier when you have many nodes and many servers to confuse.

On the other, Dont know where to start.
Except to say I would reset everything.
Modem, router server in that order and test again before you monkey with settings.
And to test with a wide range of nodes.
Don't rule out a software corruption and if I am reading you correctly, this is really one server that has a audio issue outbound ? I could just be duplex mode on that node.

They way you stated all this makes it hard to follow logically,
but I'm sure all the info is there.

So, that all my guesswork I can give with what you have said.
