Inquiry

I have set up a new Node in an Azure VM with the set up as above, folowing the guide from the wiki.

The node is registered with Allstar just fine, node66517, and although it appears on the surface to be OK there are a couple of issues.

  1. Node 66517 shows thats its not reporting any data although I have uncommented the rpt.conf file to allow this. Is there a port thats means to be passing through to the server to alow this?

  2. More imprortantly, when I try and link the node I get this error:

    OK:
    Unknown node number 66517.

So although its registered, it appears to not know about itself?/

If anyone can give me some guidance Id really appreciate it, thank you.

Javier.

Sadness.. no one responded yet. If you haven’t gotten this to work. Take a look at the new thread “Node data not appering on the website”. I just put some info there and there may be future comments you’ll find helpful.

Good luck!

Both problems likely stem from misconfiguration. Did you use asl-menu to configure your node? You can't simply "uncomment" statpost - you have to put it in the proper section for your node's configuration. Did you run asl-check-install yet?
