New DIY node with issues

Seems many have had issues with the sound fob as of late.
Perhaps there is a clue in reading others solutions ?

UV82 and CM108 wont release PTT

This may be of no help, but FWIW: I recently built my first ASL node with ASL3 on a Dell thin-client PC using two HTs and a R1-2023 (Thank you to David Gleason, @NR9V, for https://www.allscan.info/docs/diy-node.php).
