It seems perfectly trivial to use these breakout boards, a handful of CM-119 chips, and haywire the other components on top. Cost - about $35, for TEN of them.

QFP48 are not as difficult to solder as they look. Easy to do anything you like with any pin. No pcb to make. All parts COTS. Can mount four of these boards on an RPI3 proto shield and just plug 'em in.
