Hi People,
I just set up supermon 7.4 on ASL3, and everything worked fine. I wanted to add some links by editing my favorites.ini, as there was only 4 or 5 displayed in the default setup when pressing the "favorites" button in supermon.
As I have just migrated from Hamvoip, I went into the terminal, and edited the file by using nano editor, but I couldn't write the edit unless I used sudo nano to edit it. Now when I press the favorites button in supermon, all that is displayed is a blank screen with a slider bar, as if supermon cannot read the .ini file.
Any idea's please?
Further to my original post, I used the editing facility in supermon to remove the entries had put in to favorites.ini, saved that, and then added the additional links via editing within supermon, and the favorites button now works as expected.
when you were in nano you have to watch that any extra characters that you type in like a period or extra space or you forget to leave out a " then it will cause those issues. you can edit the favorites anyway you want just make sure you remove the ; from in front of the 2 lines being used.
