Making a bootable USB install

I just downloaded the latest ISO image, and it is too large to fit on a CD. I think it might be time for me to learn how to create a bootable USB stick and place the image on it. Can someone please direct me to some instructions on how to perform this task?
Thanks.

The ISO image was intended for DVD.

I believe what your are looking for is something like 'Rufus Portable'.

But I am impartial to portable version apps.

See the howto's inside of it.

Unless you wish to take the time to learn how to do it yourself.

Plenty of online guides.
