Just set up two ASL3 nodes from scratch (and the decommissioned ASL2 node applies here as well):
I never found the 1st section you mentioned in ASL2 or 3. Fore sure it does not exist in the rpt file in ASL3. I had to add it manually to ASL2. It looks like it defines [macro48654] which is why that never worked and I just leave the macro stanza at [macro]. It is frustrating to be told “just keep looking” for something that actually does not exist as far as I have seen 
- (I can see the section with all the other stanza definitions there is no macro=macro1000 as described.) I am guessing defining the node number in the stanza heading allows for multiple nodes to be managed in the one rpt file?
Thx for all the dev team hard work I appreciate ASL and am very glad the open source version is thriving.
Pardon my being lazy but a 4 year old post is tl;dr. Would you mind starting a new topic and explain what you’d like to do with macros? Thanks for understanding.
