Interfacing with vx7000 Yaesu repeater

Has anyone interfaced a DMK URI and Vx7000 I would like to have
the computer at the site instead of doing it remotely. Would you use
the ACC connector on the rear of the repeater or the rj45 plug on the
rear of the machine. Any Help would be great.

If you wish to encode external CTCSS you need to use the 25 pin connector,
if you want the repeater to encode for you, then you can use the Line
modular connector.

I would use the 25 pin accy connector...as ctcss can be controlled instead
of just on all the time..

From a quick cursory glance at this:
http://www.repeater-builder.com/yaesu-vertex-standard/vxr-7000/CAT-Note-11.htm

It looks as though the VX-7000's Accy. connector pin-out is close to a VX-5000. Here is how I made connections to a VX-5k:
http://www.allstarnode.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=64

A full service manual (which includes the Accy plug description) can be found here:

While not a "how-to" exactly, one *should* be able to quickly figure the connections using the above info.
