I am having trouble trying to add my wifi crudentials for my work. I have a portable node & when I am home, it will not let me connect to Admin portable in Allstar dashboard. I try to use the information in the ASL3 manual about Wifi & under Network Connections, I followed the instructions & when I take it to work, it doesn't work. My SSID at work is: BCPW-Secure & my password is: BCRoad24$
Here is what I try to do following the information in the manual
nmcli conn add type wifi con-name MYNETWORK ifname wlan0 ssid MYPASSWORD
nmcli conn modify MYNETWORK wifi-sec.key-mgmt wpa-psk wifi-sec.psk MYPASSWORD
If any help trying to learn to do this, I will greatly appreciate it.
I use cli program nmtui to configure the network settings on my pi's.
Login to Cockpit (on port 9090) and use Wifi Manager. It's web-based and straightforward.
