Gm300 controller

so i have two GM300s and repeater-builder STM32-DVM plugged into my GPIO port of my pi3b+ my question is where in my allstar config do i find the board plugged into the GPIO so it’ll act as a controller because i know allstar can be used without internet as a repeater controller but i do i find the board connected to my GPIO?

A Repeater Builder STM32-DVM is a digital modem for digital modes such as D-STAR, DMR, YSF/C4FM, etc. It's not an analog audio controller. It's not compatible with AllStarLink.

then what can i use to control my radios with that board for FM i don’t need digital anything just analog FM

Unfortunately, you cannot use that board for anything with AllStarLink or, in fact, any analog audio at all. For ASL/analog, my personal preference is the RA-series from Masters Communications. RA Series Radio Adapter Index Page. There's also the AllScan products, DMK URI-X, and others.

Alternatively, you could use that for a Pi-Star or W0CHP digital system.

then why’s it say FM on the board with an LED next to it???

MMDVM has a mode where you can do a simplistic analog repeat or pull the analog audio off and daisy-chain it to another controller.

ok so how would i do the “simple” analog because that’s what im going for until me and a buddy get DMR radio’s then it’s getting converted but for now it’s analog so the stuff im trying to use is open repeater and i already have a second pi 3b+ flashed with that controller software but also my other pi still has allstar 3 on it so which one do i use because before we were using pi-star

I couldn't say exactly. I know there's some hand-configuration you can do in Pi-Star to make it work. You need a special version of the MMDVM firmware too. I'd suggest looking at https://forum.pistar.uk/. However you cannot do it with ASL.
