Inquiry

This is my first attempt getting starting with AllStarLink, so please bear with me.

I have setup a Raspberry Pi 4 radioless node 681561 which is registered on the AllStarLink node list. It is connected my ethernet to my home router.

I have DVSwitch Mobile running on a Google Pixel 10 phone. DVSwitch shows it is registered but I am unable to connect to my 681561 node (nothing happens) or to the local repeater node - there I get this error message "failure code: (16) Normal call clearing". The IAX2 account saved without error.

The Web Transceiver Update Token screen in DVSwitch shows a green light.

The Asterisk Node Setup Menu is setup with setting #4 as “No radio interface or HUB mode and #5 Duplex Type is set as “1”.

Clearly I am doing something wrong, however I have run out of ideas. Can anyone point me in a possible direction to attempt to fix this setup?

Thanks,

David VA3XDT

I've only seen that error if I try to connect to a restricted access node, where I am not on the whitelist.

Have you tried 55553 to set your levels? That should help narrow it down.

Are you trying to connect from your phone (w/DVSM) to your radio-less node with both on the same local network? If so, you may be seeing an issue with many home routers not being able to hairpin the outbound network traffic back into the network. The simplest workaround is to turn off Wi-Fi on your phone when you want to have DVSM connect to a host on your own network. That will put the outbound traffic on the cellular network ad then back via your ISP to your home network.
