Does the command “eannmode = x” only work in newer distributions such as DIAL? I added this to the rpt.conf on my system as eannmode = 2 but connects are still announced as node number only.
Thanks

Did you remember to either restart asterisk or reload your rpt.conf file (rpt reload from the asterisk console, or asterisk -rx "rpt reload")?

Did you "rpt reload" or restart Asterisk after making the changes?

Hmm. Shouldn't matter. Where in the file did you put the statement? It should be in the section where you're defining your node.
