What does this mean?

It likely means your system is not able to communicate with your designated echolink servers.
You can change them in echolink.conf
This has worked for me for a while.
It is a failthrough system. If one fails it tries the next.
server1=naeast.echolink.org
server2=nasouth.echolink.org
server3=servers.echolink.org
You can go to echolink web and see what the suggest now-a-days.
