DVSwitch Mobile on Private Node

Hi all,

I have a new ASL3 node configured as a private node 1001. I wish to configure DVSwitch Mobile so that I can monitor the node remotely and talk back through it as necessary.

I have configured the Android client as per instruction guides but it fails to connect. I changed the passwords in the iaxrpt and iaxclient stanzas in iax.conf to something more simple to be sure that I wasn’t making a mistake.

As a process of diagnostics I did the same with 618034 - just changed the passwords and configured DVSwitch to suit and it worked first time. The same process does not work on my private node. Why?

I think I realised what the problem is. I was using a non-standard iax port outside of the permitted range in the firewall.

I will keep trying to see if I can make it work.
