When I send a function command via iaxrpt to my node, it responds
appropriately, but when I key in *5<macro#> from my radio (tried on HT and
mobile), the node does not respond. It worked before I updated the computer
hardware, same rpt.conf, and I believe the repeater hardware is the same
configuration.

5=macro,1 ;in the [functions] list

Thanks,
Bob

Bob,

The only thing I can think of that may be happening that makes sense is:

Check for dup command strings.
You should have no commands that start with a 5 as that has been reserved
for macros. Check your command list for type errors.

Mike,

You taught me well... I looked for a dupe, never finding it, but when I
remembered you pointing me in that direction some time back, I simply
selected a different value for the function, it began to work.

Thanks much,
Bob
