OS : Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)
OS Kernel : 6.12.47+rpt-rpi-2712

ASL [app_rpt] : 3.6.2
I use dvswitch to connect with ASL3. This uses chan_usrp. There are occasionally DTMF tones coming through which channel.c tries to decode. Incoming DTMF has no business on my system and I would like to disable it in the channel driver.
The problem comes from the origination station. It is audio, not a sub channel digital string.
Really, those of us using ASL for access to the digital modes should not be transmitting anything but voice audio. But not everyone complies. Some have rf links included that do not mute the dtmf in their output stream.
Just out of your control. Have to safeguard your command set.
