Mark,

Edit /etc/asterisk/modules.conf

change:
load => chan_simpleusb.so ; Simple USB Radio Interface

Channel Drive

noload => chan_simpleusb.so ; Simple USB Radio

Interface Channel Drive

and

noload => chan_usbradio.so ;   USB Console Channel

Driver

load => chan_usbradio.so ; USB Console Channel Driver
···

In other words, disable the simpleusb channel driver and enable
chanusbradio channel driver.

After changing the noload and load options - plus a couple of reboots, why
one wasn't enough, I have no idea,
so far so good - except for waiting to see if my node will show up in the
/etc...../rpt_extnodes hopefully

Also wondered if there was more documentation on the modules you can load?
How to use them - I see there is a voicemail one and icecast etc, just
curious how some of those would work... they appear to be new for those
coming from ACID.

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,
It's in <http://stats.allstarlink.org/> Showing up for about 12 min.
Also in rpt_extnodes

Actually they are the same modules as ACID.
All I did was break out the loading and noload rather then load all except...
