so when i try to use my cell phone to call the allstar number to dial into my node it doesn’t ring at all and the drops the call i remember something about a soft phone so is there a free soft phone and if so how do i tie it into my allstar?
Zoiper is available on android and apple but it is slightly different on each. Popular.
But of course I doubt I am using the ‘latest’.

To think of it correctly,
you need to make it work with asterisk. Allstar node is just a extension to dial.
No guide published in ASL that I know of.

Don’t forget that if you use a firewall, it needs to be ported through it dependent on method.
Perhaps your router as well.
